今天在工作上發生了一個鳥事,
但往好處想,也學到了一個專業知職,對這定義有更明白的認知。

在電子學上,Active component 主動元件和passive component被動元件是怎麼分別的呢?
一般來講,我們的認知會覺得用有沒有GAIN(增益)來分,R,L,C是被動,IC是主動,
但今天被diode(二極體)困到了,diode是主動還是被動呢?
我送主動結果被公司CE說送錯類別了?送錯類別會被記退件,被記退件是不能被允許的事。
但原來主被動元件還有一項定義是Directrionality另一說法是switches the flow of current
所以Diode是主動還是被動元件呢? 答案是主動元件。

  • Passive components are those that do not have gain or directionality.In the Electric industry they are called Electrical elements or electrical components
  • Active components are those that have gain or directionality, in contrast to passive components, which have neither. They include Semiconductors (Solid State Devices) and Thermionic Valves (Vacuum Tubes)
